Israel Chemicals cuts production but ramps up sales

In the second quarter of this year, Israel Chemicals reduced potassium chloride production by 17% to 1.117 million. tons, however, managed to increase its sales by 14.2% to 12.252 million tons. Its stock in warehouses has almost halved to 384,000. Tons.
The drop in production was due to the halt ingesher production of potassium chloride at the Boulby mine (UK) as part of the transition to polygalite production and the drop in loading at Israel Chemicals plants in Spain and Israel.
But the increase in sales was due to the expansion of orders in China and Brazil, while in India they decreased.
